Our history..... Freeman FBLA began in 1998 with only one member, Abby Thomas.  Abby transfered to Freeman at the start of the school year, from nearby Liberty High School, where she had been an active FBLA member. At the time, Freeman did not have a chapter and she really wanted to join FBLA. Since there wasn't an existing chapter, it was decided, with Abby's leadership, that it was time to offer this organization to the student body. Freeman Business Teacher Scott Moore had previously been an assistant FBLA advisor at Lindbergh High School in Renton, Washington.  He taught there from 1982 - 1991 and was instrumental in the development of the LHS chapter.  When Abby showed an interest in beginning a chapter here, Mr. Moore agreed to be the advisor. Under his guidance, and with the positive support of the Freeman administration and community, our chapter has grown from one member in 1998 to the largest chapter in the Northeast Region in each of the last three years.
