The 2012 "Burgers With A Heart" is off and running. Make sure you stop by the Valley Red Robin on Thursday, February 9 to help support this great cause. For every burger sold, Red Robin will donate $.50 to the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery on behalf of Freeman. On Tuesday, February 7, we raised over $900 toward our goal of $2000! The dawghouse espresso stand is up and running. We are planning to have a variety of people run the stand each morning of the week. We will also train a "pool" of people who will have the privilege of working at extra-curricular activities and mornings. If you are interested in being trained as a Barista, please contact advisor, Scott Moore. This is a great opportunity and will give you some marketable skills that you can take with you into the "Real World!" You can also contact our Dawghouse managers - Tori Burton, Danny Cossey, or Hanna Weathers, to set up a time to be trained. They are all seniors and we are also looking for some "new" managers for the years again. Join them today and help continue to make the Dawghouse Espresso a successful venture!

If you haven't had a chance to enjoy a drink, stop on by - they all make a great drink. To learn how to make the drinks, these FBLA members, along with advisor Scott Moore took a trip to DOMA Coffee Roasting Company in Post Falls. We learned a ton about coffee and drink making. There is much more to making a cup a coffee than what meets the eye.
