The 2011-12 "Winter Competitions" are just around the corner - February 1st at Eastpoint Church. Are you ready? If you have a homesite test, it MUST be taken prior to January 20. See Mr. Moore to arrange a time. If you are in a performance event, check with Mr. Moore to schedule a time, or a series of days, to run through your competition. Check out our competition page for a ton of helpful hints. San Antonio will be a blast, but it takes hard work, dedictation, leadership and commitment to get there.

The dawghouse espresso stand is up and running. We are planning to have a variety of people run the stand each morning of the week. We will also train a "pool" of people who will have the privilege of working at extra-curricular activities and mornings. If you are interested in being trained as a Barista, please contact advisor, Scott Moore. This is a great opportunity and will give you some marketable skills that you can take with you into the "Real World!" You can also contact our Dawghouse managers - Tori Burton, Danny Cossey, or Hanna Weathers, to set up a time to be trained. They are all seniors and we are also looking for some "new" managers for the years again. Join them today and help continue to make the Dawghouse Espresso a successful venture!

If you haven't had a chance to enjoy a drink, stop on by - they all make a great drink. To learn how to make the drinks, these FBLA members, along with advisor Scott Moore took a trip to DOMA Coffee Roasting Company in Post Falls. We learned a ton about coffee and drink making. There is much more to making a cup a coffee than what meets the eye.
